LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Box today announced that Faber & Faber, one of Britain’s largest
independent publishing houses, is turning to Box for organisation-wide
content management and collaboration. The company has moved to Box to
improve collaboration and efficiency.
“Box is helping us to transition employees away from traditional ways of
publishing to a much more modern and efficient system,” said Jim
Lindsay, Integration Specialist for Faber & Faber. “Now content is
always accessible and we’re able to meet crucial publishing deadlines
more effectively. Thanks to Box, Faber has become much more efficient
and more professional in its use of technology.”
Project sponsor Nigel Marsh, Operations Director at Faber, added: “The
introduction of Box has given the company more peace of mind around data
security whilst also allowing flexible access to our content.”
“Faber, founded almost a century ago, is a classic example of an
established company modernising its workflow through new technology,”
said David Quantrell, SVP and GM of EMEA at Box. “By thinking
differently about how its teams collaborate and share information, Faber
has been able to increase output and now has a more mobile and
productive workforce.”
Faber is known for publishing some of literature’s best-known works,
such as William Golding’s Lord of the Flies, and is famous for
its list of esteemed former editors, including T. S. Eliot. It has
published books by twelve Nobel Laureates and six Booker Prize-winners.
Today, it publishes fiction, non-fiction, poetry and children’s
literature.
Faber has selected Box to:
-
Manage incoming manuscripts from draft to final approval;
-
Track comments made by approved contributors;
-
Empower a more mobile and collaborative workforce who can work
anywhere and on any device.
Box makes it easy for more than 40 million users and more than 50,000
organisations around the world to share and collaborate. With today’s
